* The Royal Gallery dress code is strictly Dress Uniform, National Dress, Evening Dress, or Business Attire. Jeans, short trousers, and sport shoes are not permitted. The dress code reflects the VIP status of The Royal Gallery that regularly plays host to guests including British Royalty, foreign Heads of State, and senior politicians, and military personnel. Whilst the Royal Gallery is under cover, it is open to the front, so we ask that you bring a warm layer. Tartan blankets are also provided.

DAY 1 - EDINBURGH ARRIVAL

Arrive at the 5* Virgin Hotel in central Edinburgh. Check in is from 3pm, and you will have time to explore a little of your surroundings before meeting fellow guests.

6-7PM

Join your fellow Tour guests and meet your dedicated Tour Manager. Enjoy a champagne welcome reception in a private area within the hotel and learn about the tour ahead. The rest of your evening is at leisure.

DAY 2 - EDINBURGH DAY AND ROYAL YACHT

After a full breakfast, we embark on an Edinburgh adventure. Today you will take in some iconic sights and attractions such as the Palace of Holyroodhouse, a magnificent champagne afternoon tea and the majestic Royal Yacht Britannia with transportation via private executive coach.

Day 3 (08 Aug 2026) - Itinerary

DAY 3 - EDINBURGH CASTLE AND ROYAL EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO

DAY

After breakfast you take a guided walking tour of Edinburgh, learning about the rich history and architecture of the city and explore the iconic Edinburgh Castle with your guide. You will experience an exclusive Q&A session with a valued member of the Tattoo team. Enjoy the chance to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes of this impressive event. Afterwards you will embark upon a tour of the Scotch Whisky Experience with a Scottish tasting lunch included.

EVENING

Your evening tonight is spent at the spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Enjoy a four-course meal and specially selected wine pairings at Cannonball House, an iconic historic venue atop the Royal Mile beside the Castle Esplanade. The experience also features a performance by members of the 2026 cast and a backstage tour of the Tattoo arena and the Castle. You will then take the best seats in the arena in the covered Royal Gallery and sit back for the show. Afterwards you can join the after-show drinks and canapes reception held within the Royal Gallery. On your return to the hotel, meet your fellow guests and Tour Manager for a traditional last dram and talk about your night.
